This project reflects Strack Construction’s continued ability to deliver efficient, high-quality builds for growing national restaurant brands.

Supporting Continued Franchise Growth

Wingstop continues to expand across Minnesota and beyond. Projects like this require a construction partner who understands the speed and consistency needed for franchise growth.

Strack Construction worked closely with OM Group throughout the process. From early coordination through final delivery, the team stayed aligned on schedule, expectations, and brand standards.

As a result, the project moved forward smoothly and opened on time.

Delivering a Consistent Brand Experience

Fast casual restaurant construction requires attention to detail at every stage. Layout, finishes, and flow all contribute to a consistent customer experience.

Strack Construction ensured the Bloomington location reflects Wingstop’s recognizable design and operational standards. At the same time, the space was built to support efficient kitchen operations and customer flow.

Because of this focus, the finished restaurant delivers both performance and brand consistency.

Coordinated Construction from Start to Finish

Strong coordination played a key role in the success of this project. The Strack team managed scheduling, trade partners, and final finishes with precision.

Retail Construction Contractor in Minnesota: Strack Completes Floyd’s 99 Barbershop in Maple Grove

As a trusted retail construction contractor in Minnesota, Strack Construction is proud to announce the completion of another Floyd’s 99 Barbershop location. This project marks the third Floyd’s 99 Barbershop our team has partnered on with this Denver-based franchisee. From early site selection through final grand opening preparations, Strack remained involved every step of the way.

This project reflects the depth of partnership and full-service support we bring to every retail buildout.

A True Start-to-Finish Partnership

Successful retail construction requires more than simply building walls and finishes. It demands planning, budgeting, coordination, and strategic decision-making from day one. On this Floyd’s 99 Barbershop project, Strack Construction supported the franchisee through:

  • Site selection evaluation
  • Budget development
  • Design coordination
  • Permitting and approvals
  • Full construction through completion

Because of this comprehensive approach, the project moved efficiently from concept to completion. Early involvement allowed the team to anticipate challenges and streamline the overall timeline.

Retail spaces often require careful coordination with landlords, brokers, and municipalities. As a result, strong communication plays a key role in keeping projects on track.

Bringing the Floyd’s 99 Brand to Life

Floyd’s 99 Barbershop operates approximately 140 locations across 14 states. The brand is widely recognized for its high-energy atmosphere, rock-and-roll aesthetic, and full-service grooming experience. Each location blends classic barbering traditions with modern style.

For this reason, construction must reflect the brand’s identity. Interior finishes, lighting, layout, and design details all contribute to the final experience.

Strack Construction works closely with franchise partners to ensure brand standards remain consistent. At the same time, each location adapts to its specific market and footprint.

Located at Rice Lake Plaza in Maple Grove

This 1,078-square-foot Floyd’s 99 Barbershop is located at Rice Lake Plaza (13760 83rd Way N) in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The shopping center offers strong visibility and convenient access for guests.

Retail tenant buildouts within multi-tenant centers require careful coordination. Construction crews must manage schedules while minimizing disruption to neighboring businesses. Strack Construction approaches these projects with clear communication and organized site management.

The planned opening date is March 13th, bringing a new grooming destination to the Maple Grove community.

Collaboration Drives Every Project Forward

Projects like this succeed because of strong partnerships. Special thanks to Lauren Kessler for brokering the deal and helping move the project forward. Early collaboration between brokers, franchisees, designers, and contractors creates smoother outcomes and fewer surprises.

As an experienced retail construction contractor in Minnesota, Strack Construction focuses on long-term relationships. Repeat partnerships demonstrate trust, reliability, and consistent performance.

We appreciate the continued confidence from this Denver-based franchise group. We look forward to supporting future growth and bringing more high-quality retail spaces to life.

Restaurant Construction Contractor in Minnesota: Strack Begins Dave’s Hot Chicken Project in Oak Park Heights

As a leading restaurant construction contractor in Minnesota, Strack Construction has officially started work on a new Dave’s Hot Chicken location in Oak Park Heights, MN. This project continues the rapid growth of the brand across the state and strengthens Strack’s long-standing partnership with franchise group MN Chicken.

The Oak Park Heights location follows closely behind another Dave’s Hot Chicken project currently underway in Edina. Together, these projects highlight the continued demand for fast-casual restaurant concepts throughout the Twin Cities region. With construction now underway, the Oak Park Heights location is scheduled to open at the end of May.

Continuing a Strong Partnership with MN Chicken

This project represents another milestone in Strack Construction’s relationship with MN Chicken. The Oak Park Heights restaurant marks the 8th Dave’s Hot Chicken location in Minnesota for MN Chicken and the 10th Dave’s Hot Chicken Strack Construction has built overall.

Building multiple locations for the same franchise group requires consistency, efficiency, and attention to brand standards. Over time, our team has developed a deep understanding of Dave’s Hot Chicken’s design requirements, operational flow, and construction specifications.

As a result, each new project benefits from lessons learned on previous builds. This experience allows Strack Construction to deliver restaurant spaces faster while maintaining the brand’s high-energy identity.

Transforming an Existing Property

One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the transformation of an existing site. The new restaurant is being built within a former Taco John’s property, giving new life to a previously vacated space.

Redevelopment projects like this require thoughtful planning and coordination. Existing structures often need updates to support modern restaurant operations. Our team carefully evaluates the building, infrastructure, and layout before construction begins.

Once complete, the updated Dave’s Hot Chicken will feature:

  • A convenient drive-thru lane
  • Spacious indoor dining areas
  • A welcoming outdoor patio for guests

By repurposing an existing building, the project supports efficient development while revitalizing the surrounding commercial area.

Building High-Energy Restaurant Spaces

Fast-casual restaurant construction requires careful attention to detail. Kitchen workflow, customer flow, and brand design all play important roles in the final result.

Strack Construction specializes in restaurant construction, franchise buildouts, and tenant improvement projects across Minnesota. Our team understands the pace and coordination required to deliver high-performing restaurant environments.

Because of this experience, projects stay organized and predictable. Trades work efficiently, and schedules remain on track.

Progress Underway in Oak Park Heights

Construction crews are currently working on the Oak Park Heights site. Over the coming months, the building will transform into a vibrant new destination for Dave’s Hot Chicken fans.

Projects like this showcase the value of strong collaboration. Ownership groups, designers, subcontractors, and inspectors all play important roles in delivering a successful restaurant build.

Strack Construction looks forward to sharing additional updates as progress continues.

As a trusted restaurant construction contractor in Minnesota, Strack Construction is proud to support growing brands like Dave’s Hot Chicken as they expand across the region.

Winter Commercial Construction: How Strack Construction Delivers Results Year-Round

Winter commercial construction presents unique challenges across Minnesota. Cold temperatures, snow, and shorter days can impact schedules and site conditions. However, with the right planning and experience, winter does not need to slow progress. At Strack Construction, our team understands how to keep commercial projects moving safely and efficiently throughout the colder months.

As a trusted multi-tenant building contractor, Strack Construction approaches winter projects with preparation and precision. From early scheduling decisions to proactive site management, every step focuses on maintaining momentum while protecting quality.

Planning Ahead for Winter Conditions

Successful winter commercial construction starts long before temperatures drop. Early planning allows our team to adjust timelines, sequence work properly, and coordinate trades effectively. For example, interior work often becomes the focus during winter months. This approach reduces weather-related risks and keeps crews productive.

Additionally, proper material handling and storage become critical in cold conditions. Strack Construction plans deliveries carefully to avoid damage and delays. As a result, projects stay on track even when outdoor work becomes limited.

Expertise in Tenant Improvement Spaces

Winter can be an ideal time to complete tenant improvement spaces, especially in occupied or multi-tenant buildings. Interior buildouts allow businesses to prepare for spring openings while minimizing disruption to surrounding tenants.

Strack Construction specializes in tenant improvement spaces across retail, office, and commercial environments. Our team coordinates closely with property managers and tenants to maintain clean, safe job sites. Meanwhile, clear communication ensures everyone understands schedules and expectations.

Because much of the work occurs indoors, winter conditions have less impact. This makes winter a strategic season for renovations, rebrands, and space updates.

Multi-Tenant Construction Requires Coordination

Working as a multi-tenant building contractor demands attention to detail year-round. During winter, that responsibility increases. Snow management, safe access, and noise control all require extra planning.

At Strack Construction, we manage these details carefully. We communicate proactively with property owners and tenants. For this reason, projects progress smoothly without unnecessary interruptions. This approach builds trust and long-term relationships.

A Local Example: Rush Creek in Maple Grove

Projects like Rush Creek in Maple Grove demonstrate how winter commercial construction can succeed with the right contractor. Multi-tenant developments require precise scheduling, strong coordination, and adaptability. Winter conditions add another layer of complexity.

Strack Construction brings local experience to projects like Rush Creek. Our understanding of Minnesota winters allows us to anticipate challenges and respond quickly. As a result, interior buildouts and tenant improvements continue without sacrificing quality or safety.

Built to Perform in Every Season

Winter commercial construction does not have to mean delays or compromised results. With experience, preparation, and clear communication, projects can move forward confidently.

Strack Construction delivers commercial spaces that perform year-round. Whether you need a reliable multi-tenant building contractor, upgrades to tenant improvement spaces, or construction support in locations like Rush Creek in Maple Grove, our team is ready to help.
