A History Of Service
When Joseph and Don Strack opened Strack Construction in 1938, they had no idea that they were creating a business that would go on to change the lives of their family and thousands of clients. The mission was simple: provide clients with trustworthy construction services. As time went on, though, the team behind Strack realized there was a significant gap in the market. In the rush to win bids and finish projects quickly, commercial property owners were receiving subpar service from our competitors. Strack Construction knew that they deserved better – and you do, too.
Today, we’re proud to be one of the Midwest’s leading commercial and industrial construction contractors. Decades later, we remain a family owned and operated company, bringing our signature personal touch and community spirit to every project we take on. Matt has been with the company full time for the past 20 years. His past field experience combined with his strong construction knowledge has positioned Strack Construction as a frontrunner in commercial construction. Matt oversees the company’s strategic direction and operational growth.
John Nack
Partner, Chief Operations Officer
John has been with the company since 2004. His experience in building design and employee-first company vision have been an asset to the forward-thinking direction of the company. He is focused on client relations and new opportunities that allow for continued growth of all Strack employees within the construction industry.

Mike has been with the company since 2008. Mike is responsible for the financial health of the company. He is actively evaluating the financial health of all of our partners in an effort to protect our clients best interest.
